Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
2. 1 tablespoon cooking oil
3. 2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix
4. 1/4 teaspoon pepper
5. 1 2/3 cups boiling water
6. 1 cup frozen peas
Directions:
1. In large skillet, brown rice in oil, stirring constantly.
2. Blend in soup mix and pepper.
3. Stir in water; bring to a boil.
4. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender.
5. Stir in peas.
6. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
