Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2. 4 Granny Smith apples, cored and diced
3. 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4. 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Directions:
1. 1. Melt the butter in a medium skillet over high heat until it begins to foam.
2. 2. Add the apples and the ground cinnamon and stir to coat with the butter.
3. 3. Lower the heat and cook until the apples are tender, for about 15 minutes.
4. 4.Drizzle with the maple syrup and cook for about one minute longer.
5. 5. Serve warm or at room temperature.
