Ingredients for 3 servings:
1. 2 tablespoons bacon drippings
2. 3 chicken breasts, deboned, cooked, diced
3. 2 stalks celery, diced
4. 1 onion, diced
5. 4 cups chicken broth
6. 1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes, undrained
7. 2 teaspoons salt
8. 1/3 cup green pepper, diced
9. 1/3 cup long grain rice, uncooked
10. 1 cup frozen okra
11. 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
12. 1 bay leaf
13. 1 dash Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
1. In a large soup pot, add all ingredients.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat and simmer until all vegetables and rice are tender.
4. Remove bay leaf and serve.
