Ingredients for 2 servings:
1. 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2. 6 -8 cloves garlic
3. 3/4 cup butter
4. all-purpose flour
5. 1 cup sliced cremini mushroom (baby bellas ok)
6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
7. 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
8. 1 lemon, juice of
9. 1 cup dry sherry
10. 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped
Directions:
1. Place the flour in a bowl and set aside.
2. Place butter and garlic in a large skillet and saute until garlic is fragrant and sizzling.
3. Toss the shrimp in the flour and shake away the excess, add to the skillet along with the mushrooms; cook until they become golden.
4. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Squeeze in the lemon juice and add the wine and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
