Ingredients for 4 servings:
1. 8 ounces penne or 8 ounces elbow macaroni
2. 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes with onion and garlic
3. 1/2 cup chopped fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dried basil
4. 3/4 cup whipping cream
5. 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
2. Meanwhile, in skillet, cook tomatoes over medium high heat until thickened, about 5 minutes.
3. Reduce heat to low; wait a few minutes and then add basil and cream.
4. Heat through.
5. DO NOT BOIL.
6. Toss with pasta and and cheese.
7. Serve immediately.
