Ingredients:

3/4 Butter
1 Margarine
3 Sugar
3/4 Eggs
1 3/4 Milk
1/2 Flour
1 1/4 Mace
1/2 Cinnamon
1 1/2 Ground Cloves
1/4 Baking Soda
1 1/2 Salt
1 1/2 Lemon Juice
5 -6 Confectioners’ Sugar
1/2 Water
Lemon Juice

Directions:

Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs one at a time.
Add milk alternately with sifted dry ingredients.
Stir in lemon juice.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
While cake is still hot drizzle with glaze.
