Ingredients for 15 servings:
1. 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
2. 3 tablespoons lemon juice
3. 1 teaspoon basil
4. 1 teaspoon thyme
5. 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
6. 1/4 teaspoon pepper
7. 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
8. 12 -14 lbs turkey
Directions:
1. Mix all basting ingredients.
2. Place cleaned turkey in roaster pan.
3. Roast turkey, uncovered,at 325*.
4. Baste with chichen broth mixture every 1/2 hour.
5. Turkey should be done in 4-5 hours.
6. If needed to prevent over browning; cover with a foil tent last hour of cooking.
